Senior Sales Recruiter | American Express

Be part of a creative, high energy staffing team and support the development of our recruitment line of practice. You will be aligned with our sales businesses and help to build a solid recruitment approach that drives success in the business. This position will allow you to use your strong recruiting background to proactively identify top talent for the organization. You will build strong partnerships with hiring leaders to understand the business and positions they seek to fill. Using your strong relationship skills you will seek out the top talent to match the requirements for the position. The scope of this position will support positions throughout the US.

- Responsible for the development and implementation of organizational sourcing and recruiting strategy that responds to the strategic issues, competitive climate and business challenges of the organization
- Responsible for working collaboratively with senior management to develop staffing plans in support of anticipated organizational and business needs
- Identify, evaluate and recruit mid to high level external candidates
- Develop a consultative staffing engagement approach with hiring managers to include project management, professional career development, candidate lifecycle management, and a competitive market intelligence process
- Develop and implement strategies to source qualified diverse candidates to meet requirements for mid to high level positions from internal, external and/or referral candidate pools
- Build relationships with candidate pools and ensures timely communication regarding placement decisions
- Utilize independent judgment and discretion, provide total staffing services to clients, e.g. recruiting strategy, sourcing, candidate assessment and selection while complying with all legal requirements
- Responsible for recruiting and sourcing needs that are more advanced, which require expertise for more complicated client accounts
- In-depth understanding of behavioral based interviewing and candidate evaluation techniques
- Ability to interview and assess candidates for high impact positions
- Provide verbal and written candidate evaluations to hiring managers
- Manage vendor relationships
- Work with employee relations to ensure compliance
- Attend local and national job fair events and conferences

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 7 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment or a combination of corporate and agency experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be able to demonstrate strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills

- Previous experience recruiting for exempt-level sales, marketing, consulting, procurement, or client management positions is required.
- Previous experience identifying candidates utilizing proactive sourcing and recruiting methods (internet searches, networking, etc) is required.
- Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System and building talent pipelines is required.
- Must have demonstrated experience developing recruiting strategies and presenting to senior leaders.
- AIRS training or certification is strongly preferred.
- This fast-paced environment requires experience with multiple sourcing channels, strong communication skills, including consultation and influence, previous experience gathering & analyzing data, strong self-management skills with a focus on results & customer service.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
